So I have been putting together a website for my family that I will most likely finish this weekend. Basically it's a http://www.moveabletype.org/ powered webpage. I have also added the Gallery and a phpBB(subsilver arrgh!). The installs on all that to my host wasn't that bad. I'm the stages now of getting the site to look good via CSS of course.

Back to my main point. I'm not sure how long it took Scott to get our message board looking and working so well but I think it's awesome!

So in case you have been doing anything new or time consuming to the site or in the future when you add new cool stuff thanks man!

w3rd up.

btw: it's cool to be an admin on a message board feel the power!

Thanks guys!

But I do it all for the chicks. ...'cause running a message board totally pulls all the ladies.

The hardest part was coding and testing the gallery, since it's 100% custom code. That's also why it's not as fast or as nice as some of the other galleries out there. But it worked for my needs over on doink.net and it's been pretty solid considering it's got several GBs more images on it than I even imagined it'd have to handle.

I'd really like to either move to vBullitin like i-club and NASIOC, or go to a completely custom solution, but one costs a bunch, and the other would require an ass-load of programming... so we're just gonna stick with what we've got... at least until the racing off-season. ;)

I tried hooking people up with it before, and to be honest, it's too complicated to setup, since it requires a bunch of other stuff to work (it's part of that unfinished suite of tools I was working on). We can try it, but we'll need to get together and "install" it some afternoon.

I really need to make a "standalone" version of the gallery that's a single script.

Sounds good.

I sure we could get it together pretty quick if we sat down and did it.

Hye if you know a decent "Gallery" could you link it for me, so far all the ones I have found have had too much going on.

I want simple.
