to me , it looks like a Porsche(cayanne) from the front and a bmw( x5) from the back but a nice layout inside..

That's almost as attractive as a Pontiac AssTek.

I'm gonna have to agree. The front-end is hidious, and the rest is almost as bad.

However the interior, particularly the new dash layout, is very cool. I'd like to see that style find its way into the Legacy and Forrester!

JC, I believe I heard you say this- "If you design a plane, and it looks right, it'll fly right."

The Tribeca's gonna crash and burn. 2-3 years and it'll have a mid-life redesign like the last ugly subaru. ;)

my wife really likes it :?

if they can get a base model at about 31k I might do it for her but at 37k there are just to many other car / truck options out there

The size and over-all shape and proportions of the car aren't bad... it's just the design details that kill me.... the lights, the horrendous grill, the tail lights, the bumpers, the little flair bump thing that wraps around the back... *shudder*

It really feels like the person GM fired after the Aztek fiasco was shipped to Subaru. :x

Yeah, the base should be around 31k-32k, but it might only be a 5 seater, with very little towing capacity.

It's already towing a lot of ugly.

It's going to be built in Indiana. I prefer the models made in Japan.

Also, what's with the name... Tribeca? "Beca" was always the name of the fat ugly girl in middle school that no one liked because she always smelled like spoiled milk.

I'm sure just as good! ahaha...

Beside, you may be correct...even if Beca = Ugly....This is a Tri Beca, which means it's 3 times as ugly.
