my abs light came on and it wont go out! Anyone have had this happed b4??? whats the deal with that light?

Is the car still under warranty? It might be time to take it in to have it checked out. I would also have a quick look to make sure it isn't something simple like a blown fuse or low brake fluid level (can these cause an ABS light? I'm not sure)

I don't know about the WRX for certain, but every other car I've driven a flashing abs (or parking brake light on older cars) means low brake fluid (or potentially some other brake problem.
Check your brake fluid, and if that looks okay, you might need to take it in to the dealership.

I just did a quick search on the intarweb, and apparently you can pull an error code from the ECU to see what the problem might be. I have an OBDII scanner if you want to give it a try, just drop me a pm.

BTW, Autozone will also give free ODBII scans. I did this regularly right after I had my uppipe/turbo/turboback installations.
