Boost Gauge Install Verson 2,pics

Well I went ahead and thought about a way to make my gauge install look like the tight fit OEM one on the cars so I drilled a bunch of little holes and got what I'm looking for. Right now I am letting the sealant dry around the hose fitting(fingers crossed no leaks). The gauge is not pushed back all the way in the housing b/c it's pretty tight but I might try pushing it harder, but in fears of breaking the nylon pipe I might just leave well enough alone, it does look a 1000 times better, I'm pretty happy.

You might wanna look into a 45 or 90 degree elbow for that thing so it'll fit all the way into the cup. I might have one already since once upon a time I had the same setup as you w/ an autometer in a cup on the steering column.

OK I was able to push it back even more so now there is only a bit of gauge left, and it's pretty tight, so it wont fall out.

well, the only problem I have is the actual connection to the back of the gauge with the little freakin hose/clamp/crush/freakin washer thing.

A nice electronic Boost Gauge is looking pretty tempting right now.

I mean I only spent $40 bucks on that one I have.
