A debate about what these are for has been happening at evolutionm.net for a while now. The general consensus is that no one has a clue. They're definately not fog lights, they are incorporated into the main headlight assembly.

Man.. what a car! Looks like Subaru will have to make some nice bumps in the '06/'07 STi to keep pace. Preferably in the handling department... I think the STi has enough power.

I don't see that coming to the US anytime soon... mainly because Mitsu doesn't (and rightly so) trust US drivers to understand that driving an AYC car is fundamentally different than what we're used to. Remember, AYC = don't countersteer...

Perhaps if they made a very limited edition MR that would be snapped up by race teams and uber-track hounds only... then I guess it'd be okay in the US.
