Custom Window Tinting, 3week Waiting List!

I just called the owner of Custom Window Tinting(on wrondel way) and he told me there is a 3 week wating list :cry: Where else is a good tint place that will do darker than 35% with no hassle?

Rod at Custom Concepts will do it, he did mine no problemo...just have to pay cash, and you can't get a reciept, but they'll still honor their warranty.

Since Custom Window Tinting is that booked, I think Custom Concepts is the way to go. I have heard some horror stories about them though.

on a side note:
seems like an college grad mid-20's white guy can figure out how to tint his own windows, I mean all these places tint windows all day long, One guy tinting windows 10 plus hours a day it can't be that hard?, what kind of special equipment will I need?

My friend had his windows tinted in his civic there and it bubbled after 3 weeks, and they wouldn't do anything about it. He had a 5% tint.

I have heard bad from some people and good things from others. If they don;t have as long as a wait, then I would go there still.

Custom concepts did my 5% tint about a year ago and no problems so far. I used to work at the Kragen across the street, so I've known Rod for a few years. He's a good guy, if you tell him I sent you down he'll take care of you. He told me if anything happened to the tint that he would take care of it for me. But no problems after a year.

Yeah, tinting is a pretty low tech: spray bottle of soapy water and patience... what's difficult is that you need a ton of experience to get good results. That's why those guy can charge so much for what's really like $10 worth of tint.

hey gUYS !!! I just booked my appointment with a cool ass company here in town and they are willing to do our window tinting (Earn our business) for about $175 per WRX ( this is on LIFETIME warantee !! ) or $150.00 for a 3 year warantee.... let me know and I will let him know... they are about 4 days out ... YES !!!! ONLY 4 DAYS !!!!

Whenever he wants to do it. I assume he would want cash, so let me know how much before hand. Whatever it was, the 150$ish one. I don't need more then the 3 year warrenty.

So whenever is best for him I guess.
