I now feel stupid and everything, but saw I some other girl on a car forum that had her name spelt just like that and she explained the meaning that way.

dknv are my initials, plus NV for nevada. It's an email name I've used for years now. I saw DKNY stuff after I had already taken the user name (or maybe it's that I didn't notice it before).
