I'm moving our DNS registrar from Network Solutions to 1and1. NetSol has decided that domain names should cost $30/year, which is a joke, since they should actually cost like $1/year, or should just be free.

Anyway, 1and1 is our server host, so it'll be easier to manage the domain names via their system since we've already got an account setup. Plus, it's only $6/year.

I don't expect there to be any loss of access to the site as the registrar is changed, but you never know what NetSol will do while the transfer is taking place (i.e. removing us from the DNS and triggering an update). So if the site's down during the next week, this is probably why... but again, I don't expect an issue.

Seconded.

All in favor?

Wait, that doesn't matter...Thanks for taking care of it.

I figured since I pay for it, I didn't need to vote on it. :P

Good luck on extracating the domain from the clutches of a greedy host...when I yanked mine from Yahoo (yes, yes, save it), they suddenly decided that they loved having me around ;-)

I'm sure it will be fine.
