What sorta prices can you (or your D2 neighbors perhaps, I know you're not totally up and running yet) get on race shells? Specifically Sparco and Cobra. Any deals better than the prices online? Any seats in stock that I can sit in?

I'm specifically looking at the Sparco Evo2, Sparco Pro 2000, and the Cobra Imola II. I'm 6'4", 210, so I need a pretty big seat.

I'll probably want Schroth belts as well... any lines on those?

Well, I'm pretty happy with my current schroth belts, plus they're now the manufacturer that makes all the Sparco belts. Plus I really like their cam-lock and 6pt design, so that's who I was leaning towards. If you've got some suggestions though, I'm all ears!

I forgot they (Schroth) are now Schroth/Sparco. :oops:

I was remembering how I did not like the basic 3 pt belts I had in Rabbit: the straps were too narrow for my liking.

Thanks for the info! Like I said in my PM, I'm still planning out what I've got to do to get the car ready for next season outside of the cage/seats, so I want to get that stuff taken care of before I jump into the cage/seats/harnesses.

I'll let you know where I'm at once I get my car back from Gruppe-S.
