Damn, it was by .9 seconds!? I didn't remember the whupping being that sever... 'course back then we used to be seconds apart all the time 'cause we sucked. I guess we must be 10 times better now, since our battles are to the tenths these days.

What you just quoted says "rear wings", not "wings". Sounds like front wings are perfectly within the rule... :)
