All stickers are high quality vinyl, great for sticking on the outside of your Subaru's window! Colors are close to as shown. Vivid Blue matches World Rally Blue *very* closely. Gold and Slate are *Metallic Film* and look SWEET! Dimentions are 6 1/2" x 1 7/8" for all stickers.

I had a blue i-club sticker on my rear door windows at one point that I thought looked pretty good, that's why I was thinking a blue SECCS logo would be cool. However, it's pretty subtle (which I like), so you won't really notice it unless you're close to the car. Otherwise I think gold is the way to go on a blue car.

If you want bold letters, there's no need to have a logo made, just go to a hobby shop and buy some bold letters.

The point of a logo is to make something that's an easily identifiable symbol. For the last 2+ months I've been trying to get input and feedback on logos, and these are the ones that got the most positive reviews. I'm sorry if you don't dig 'em, but I'm burnt out on coming up with something else.

Remember, there's no requirement to have a sticker to me a memeber of the site, if you're not in on one, it's cool. The idea is just to help promote the site with a unified, identifiable symbol.

Also, you could use just the "www.seccs.org" text off the current logo design without sticking the SECCS logo on there... but it'd be kinda small.

Here's a quick rundown of the quantities so far:

Logo1: 2 white, 4 black, 6 gold
Logo2L: 3 white, 2 black, 1 blue
Logo2R: 4 white, 3 black, 1 blue
Logo3: 1 blue, 1 gold

What this is telling me is that Logo3 and anything in blue Blue is pretty unpopular. Perhaps we shouldn't bother with anthing thing but Logo1, Logo2L/R and White/Black/Gold?

I want to make the order very simple for Art's contact. The simpler our order, the more likely we can continue to get better deals on stickers and stuff in the future! Idealy I'd like to just order like 5 of each logo/color combo... with perhaps a few extra gold Logo1's since they seem to be the most popular.

I sent the Vector format to her this morning so she is ready to rock on our word. Once I tell her a amount, then I will try and get the price down more. She even said she would cut us a deal for higher amounts.

Not to bad...seems like a know-off of a knock-off. PLus they are only 17x7 instead of Rota Battles which are 17x7.5. But still good looking.

STICKERS ARE DONE!

As mentioned in this week's meet post, the stickers are done and will be available to buy this Thursday at the meet. $3/each. Cash or check... checks prefered (I really don't want $150 in ones... :lol:)

Everyone should get what they ordered two weeks ago at the meet. For those of you who missed that meet, we will have a few extra of every type/color, and you have dibs over the people who made explicit orders.

Due to the design of Logo 3, it is not available as a sticker (the mountain outline is too narrow to be cut into vinyl).

However, we are considering having a banner made for the club that will use that logo. Unfortunately, the banner will be more expensive than we expected (in the neighborhood of $135), so we're looking for people that would be willing to chip in for it. The primary purpose of the banner will be for advertizing the club at autocross events. It will be 9'x3' in order to hang off the awning that Matt and I bought for the races. If we can't get enough people to chip in for the banner, we will consider a smaller, more affordable version, but the 9' version would be nice since it could be used to increase the shade of the awning.

I am down to throw in on the banner. I think it is a great idea. And we should have a sample of the business-type card also by this meet so if everyone agress, we can start printing those also. :D

She told me there was a problem cutting out the URL on two of the stickers, so she had to print an extra sheet to fix the mistake, but instead of throwing out the sheet with the mistakes (that has 3 good ones on it still) she just decided to give it to us.

Yea, thanks Scott. They did turn out perfect. Now if we can get the business cards to come out that way. I will have to call her and see if those were just printed on a laser printer, or if thats what it will look like. I have another contact for business card printing if she doesn't work out.

We're out of stickers right now :( I lost the ones we had in stock at the Lovelock Autocross.... cost me about $60... :x!
