Is this the same stock front bumper as the USDM WRX with fog covers/brake vents?

Yes, it appears to be the USDM Bug Eye bumper with some covers that block the stock fog lights and side vents and are more STI shaped. No idea whose covers they are.

It's not a USDM bumper, it's a Japan-only WRC lookalike by Subaru Giken (actually, it looks like a Giken knockoff from a UK shop), and then it's got extra holes drilled in the fog covers.

I just got word back from the owner of the black STi and he said, "My car is a Prodrive edition 2002 STI and the bumper was modeled on the bugeye WRC car.

It came as standard and is a factory item. These bumpers are pretty rare and dont come in cheap. They are still available from subaru as far as i know and are about £650 + the fog covers."

Interesting. I'd only ever seen the Subaru Giken parts with the leading and trailing vents by the fog covers, so that's a new one on me. That's rough, ~1300 US for the bumper than probably another 400-500 for the fog covers.
