Where is a good place to drop off bad gasoline? Will places that normally take used oil dispose it as well?

Run it through a lawn mower?
Edit: hell, get some octane booster and put it in a car before a long trip, and burn it all off. It'll probably be fine unless it's full of water or sugar or something.
Also, you could mix it w/ frozen orange juice concentrate and go reenact the Vietnam war...
Let me know what you find out. I have a 5+ year old 30 gal drum of 100 octane varnish. :)
My thought was to have an Uncle Gus style "Cook Out" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hokq4oQha4w0)

I dont have a lawnmower. Besides, it's about 7 gallons. It would take forever to burn it all.

Wait, only 7 gallons of old gas? How old?
Really, you could pretty easily mix 7 gal the old stuff, with 10 gal of 91 in a car that takes 87 and drive it off, especially at our altitude where we don't need the octane. Unless the gas is 10 years old and broken down to varnish, you'll be okay. Put in a family member or friends' car or something. Hell, split that 7 gallons across 3 cars and top them off w/ 91. It'll burn.
If you throw it out, the terrorists win!?!

The gas is about 4-5 years old and it smells of varnish. A just found a place to get rid of it and I think it would take less time and money to just disposed of it.
And if I were to burn the gas while running, you can bet I would do it like this!

Man I loved the Beavis and Butthead episode when they watched that video. Beavis goes into a trance over the fire, and when the video's over, complains about not remembering the last 5 minutes.
