I was gonna bump the "sorry things are so slow" thread, until I found it was locked...

The site is taking FOREVER to load pages for me... is it just me? Every other site I go to is at "normal" speed. Started yesterday afternoon.

Just checkin' to make sure nothing's wrong with my SECCS.

It doesn't seem slow to me.

You may want to try flushing your internet cache. Tools>Internet Options>Delete Files

Cool. Maybe I'll give that a shot. It's just SECCS tho... nothing else.

I've noticed some issues... it's a server load problem. I think there's a cron job or something running periodically in the background that's eating CPU and damn near killing the server. It lasts about 5-10 minutes it seems, and looks like something that's part of the default installation of FC4 that we just re-imaged to.

I've only noticed it while I'm at work, when I don't have SSH access. If it ever happens while I'm at home, I'll login and see WTF is running.

I just got on here within the last hour and I haven't noticed anything... perhaps it was a networking issue? Or a cron job in the background? Either way it seems fine now.

It's intermittent for me. Sometimes a thread comes right up, sometimes it takes a bit.

Is't RIDICULOUSLY slow for me... I clicked on the link to this page, left to get something to eat after waiting for a few minutes, and when I came back it had just loaded...

Ive done all that crap... and it's only SECCS. Any other random URL I put into the browser comes up right quick.

This site has been loading super slow for me today. Ironically I found this guy today too...
