I'm glad they fired that douchebag. All I ever wanted in the morning when I flipped to MSNBC was to hear some real actual news (what a concept), and that sorry motherfucker was always on every goddamn time flapping his dried up old gums about some fucking nonsense. I swear his audience median age must have been about 76, he was so non-funny.

Fuck all of you, and fuck today.
I got my trial by written dec back, guilty (I know, stop breaking the law, asshole) and Paul took my car to get smogged where it not only failed but got labeled a gross polluter. It's ok, I didn't want it back after 4 months today anyways :(
What's it gonna say... "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"?

Hahahaha.. yeah I tried that too, didn't work even though I put together a binder with all kinds of pictures, supporting evidence & a mathematical proof that the ticket was written up incorrectly. So I did online traffic school & went my merry way...

I believe he was fired for the wrong reason. They should have just said "Guddamn it Imus, you're just not funny anymore! Sorry." Actually I never really listened to him. Apparently he stopped being funny a long time ago.

That sucks! What do you have to do now to get it on the road?

IIRC, it means he has to fix it (or spend some minimum amount of money per year attempting to fix it), and get it smogged on a dyno instead of a plain old sniffer test for like the next 4 years or something after it's fixed.

You used to be able to pay for a 'test' that didn't count for anything. You would use that to decide if you wanted to get an official check done and not risk getting labeled as a GP.

That should be Cody's desktop.
It's been in my sig on wrxfanatics ever since it happened... I always have to explain what it's from. I think it's a let down for people...kind of like when you show sombody the scar you got opening the refrigerator or something.

Yeah. this is the place right down from Paul's, they don't do pretests, and honestly, with no fault codes, no smoke, and the car running beautifully with a cat in it, who would have thought it would be a GP, especially with a new motor?
Luckily, same shop is a gold shield station and can certify GP's, so I just need to come up a with a stock exhaust (I'm sure all the oil burned through my cat and accumulated in the old one is what failed me, sinc eit was for high HC's and nothing else, not the actual motor emisssions) and they can test it again.
Crossing my fingers.

It was on my belt with my leatherman, right above my back pocket containing my wallet.
I was playing soccor with some of the kids in this neighborhood where we're building a clinic.

Nope, the weather has been too bad. That is, up until the week after I left. I get some time off once I go back so I'll probably go do twenty-or-so laps to help me get used to the new car.

Dude I really want to, and I will try. It would probably be after Sept because that's when Jae will be in Spain. Maybe I can make it a double header. But I don't know, that part is going to be hard enough to deal with anyway.
