Anybody want to go see Spidey in the AM Saturday? Or do we wait until Tuesday or so?

I might be the only one here but I really have no desire to see it.

Anybody who values my opinion in regards to movies should NOT go see Spiderman 3.
It's almost as bad as Pearl Harbor.

Yea, thats what happens when they cast a guy from That 70's Show for Venom, and then leave him the same size as Spiderman  .Atrocities against comic books!!!!
Should have cast someone huge for Venom...maybey Brock Lesner the wrestler  .

Spiderman 3- interview with Sam Raimi* (http://www.oddtodd.com/movies/spidey3.html)
I think I'll wait for "Spiderman 3 in 30 seconds with rabbits" to pop up on youtube.
*not true
Anybody still up for Tuesday despite the haters?
Park Lane at 5:45 is still cheap... Downtown it is 5:20...

I'm still interested. I can probably make park lane by then, but it will be close
See you inside. I'll grab some seats about 5:20 or so.
Anybody else?

Gah... I wasn't trying to be a hater but the movie made me. It wasn't so bad, but it wasn't so good either.

pass... Doesn't look all that great. And I think I'm just too lazy to go to the theater anyway.
OK, maybe it is just the old geezer in me, but I liked it. Definitely better than 2. Yes, the last 10 minutes were pretty sappy as were a couple other parts, but get over it.
After all, it is a classic comic book, with all the clinches and predictable outcomes that go with them. I do think they upped their target audience age as well as making it more appealing to women.
I had a problems with a couple things: The goo. OK, I can live with it, but anything that survives reentry is not going to be affected by a baseball size explosive and golly, good thing peter had a license plate on his moped.
The thing that annoyed me most though was that you can't pick up a metal handled omelet pan without burning the F out of your hand even if you are Goblin Jr..

*Dean Based on your rating of Spiderman 3 NetFlix has made these other recommendations.*
1.Charlotte's Web
2.FLICKA
3.K19 Widowmaker
4.Journey to the center of the Earth
*Dean Based on your rating of Spiderman 3 NetFlix has made these other recommendations.*Don't forget Logan's Run. Mike Myers made a reference to it on Leno a couple nights ago... Jay and I got the joke but much of the audience was confused. Myers then did a riff on outdated references that was pretty damn funny. :P

So, I just went and watched Spiderman 3 in the new theater at the Summit Sierra Mall. It still had that new theater smell, and we had the whole theater to ourselves on a Thursday at 10:20pm.
Anyways that movie is so bad I think it gave me cancer.
