Well today I took the bike out for a little session at the corner track. We'll I should have known that something was going to happen because 2 people jinx'd me. First my mom told me not to get hurt, second my buddy Micah asked y my nose wasn't more protected or if anything had ever hit me there before. Of course I said no, because I had never had a problem. Today the most dangerous dirtbike powerband ever created unleashed its fury on my face.
I came out of a corner, shifted to 2nd and was pulling the front tire off the ground when i hit a large bump causing my wrist to slam the throttle WOT. WHAM!!!! Handlebar to the openning in my helmet smashing into my goggles and my nose. Instantly fell off the bike and hit the ground and I knew i F-d up my nose area and could feel the blood. When i sat up it was pouring like Niagra falls. Took a few minutes for it to stop with my helmet off but it eventually slowed to a drip. I climbed back on the bike, started it up, and went home where I scared the hell out of my family when i walked in the door. Here is a picture of my face.
