View Full Version : Men's Wimbledon final...
What an amazing match ... If you like tennis at all, or just great competition, you should be watching...

Men play tennis too?
Tennis is boxing without the blood, which to some might mean the best part is gone, but those are the same people who watch auto racing for the crashes.
It is a true one on one mental and physical competition... a clash if wills and skills.

What the hell? Tennis is AT ALL IN ANY WAY like boxing. Other than that it's a sport.
But it was a great match.

But it was a great match. They are both one on one mainstream sports with large mental and physical components. The strongest or smartest doesn't always win. They both require great physical conditioning including footwork and hand eye coordination. Take away the blood, rackets and balls and they are practically identical. :D

Hmm. I guess there were some people playing tennis while I was watching the F1 race Sunday...

+1
The same reason I like watching (and playing for that matter) tennis is the same reason I like boxing. It's about mental momentum and getting inside your opponent's head more than anything else.
Ever see a boxing match suddenly swing where the guy getting slowly pummeled suddenly comes alive and ruins his opponent? The same thing happens in tennis, albeit at a slower pace than boxing.

Ah, well I guess I wasn't thinking outside the box. That makes perfect sense.
