Thats crazy. I finally got around to watching the X-Games footage, and I remembered why that guy was so awesome. Great driver, very friendly, outgoing, etc.
Thats really a shame. :(
EDIT: merged two threads.

Rest in peace, you crazy Scottish bastard.
That about sums it up. The world is a lesser place for this loss.

A sad day indeed. RIP Colin.
:(
Now who is going to trounce Travis at X-Games only to roll the car before the finish?
He will be missed.

That's a same.
Yes, and it's also a sHame.
I read the part about his wife being calm and wondered if it's because he's freaking Colin McRae. . . I wonder if you'd get used to the death-defying stuff after a while.

The SRT-USA site put up a nice pictoral of Colin at the past two X-Games.

Just looking at all those pics is pretty heart wrenching.

This made me sad but when I read that his 5yr old son died too, I was heartbroken. I have no idea how his wife is dealing with any of this.

It was all the buzz here in Belgium, very somber mood because of it.

I heard about it while at RFR (someone got a cell phone news update) .
A sad loss for racers and fans around the world.

Yeah, someone sent me a text about this on Sunday morning.
The weird thing is, I was up Friday morning looking for WRC pics with him, hoping there might be some Pero-R shots for that ad I put up.
Me, half asleep - "Is Colin McRae still alive? Yeah, he is, nothing happened to him yet."
I should go work for a tabloid..
Weeks ago - "I used to listen to Pavarotti as a kid for some reason. Is he still alive." -Wikis 'Pavarotti'- "Yeah he is." Pavarotti dies weeks later.
Same thing w/ Mister Rogers, too...
Morbid intuition, maybe.
R.I.P... :(
I'm still alive! Don't ask!

You're not famous enough, so I don't think you count. :P
