Hello everyone! I have a set of new tires that I would like mounted and balanced on my WRX rims (off the car). Where is a recommend place I can take them to have this work done in the Reno, Carson, Gardnerville area?

I apologize if this has been answered. Sometimes I am a bit of a bonehead when it comes to searching

Oh and the last set I had this done was at Les Schwab a couple years ago (parents always went there and I am a bit naive) and there was some slight vibration due to improper balance at around 120mph. I guess their balance thingy only goes up to 85? :?:

Thx! :D

I've always had good luck with the Big O tires on Mae Anne and McCarran in NW Reno, Or Sid's alignment and Tire on 4th Street in Reno.

Costco can only mount tires you buy at Costco now. :( Unless Andy is super awesome.

Walmart on the other hand will do it for like $5/tire... the problem is their equipment couldn't put a Falken Azenis on a 17" wheel... paying $20/tire > inept workers w/ old equipment.

I am looking for quality mount + balance and am willing to pay/travel for it.
Thx for the suggestions! Much appreciated :)

Big O on Mae Anne! I think my depressing attempt at searching did squeeze out that place. hehe

Try Big-O in Carson. they should have decent equipment.

Make sure you ask for a dynamic balance and check to make sure there are weights on the inner lip and either outer lip or behind the spokes.

Anything less is just a static balance.

I have not been ecstatic with Sid's guy's work recently.

I used Rusty at C+C for the last 2 sets I had mounted

Emily went into the Carson Costco and they balanced her wheels and mounted them...I have never heard of the policy that you can only mount tires that are purchased there. I think it is like $15.

Sid couldn't figure out how to align my car either. Corey figured it out though. :)

I know we look so much alike and all, but it's always funny to me when people call me Cory by accident. I've even got PM's meant for you.
