Maybe you guys can help.
Just this past weekend, Aurthur and I were working on a friends Civic. We were swapping out most of the suspension and putting in GSR components. Unfortunatly we couldn't get the front wheel hub nuts off. We tried just about everything; breaker bars, impact wrench, fat guys, etc... but nothing. So I was hoping you guys had any insight to this problem.

Yea that thing serisouly won't budge. Even with the air compressor.
But his Brembo's he installed looked sick on the civic.

Hub nuts or wheel lug nuts? If you didn't already, soak it with penetrating oil (WD-40, etc.) multiple times, let it soak in overnight even. If that and a long breaker bar on the wrench doesn't even work, you can always try heating the nuts with a propane torch (not while the penetrating oil is still fresh! You don't want to light the car on fire...) to get them to expand and loosen a bit... do this at your own risk and be careful if you do. I've never had myself to but I've watched a mechanic do it.

Hub nuts. The lug nuts came off fine. We soaked them in a grease for a little bit but not overnight or anything.
The heat idea may work, since we tried most everything else.

I think the only thing left to do is torch it. We'll see if a mechanic can break them suckers loose when we take the car to get the rear arms dialed in. Not sure if it's legal, but it couldn't hurt to try.

I use liquid wrench instead of WD-40... it doesn't last as long in a lubricating role, but it sure does help break stuff lose. You should seen my 18" breaker bar flex trying to take off my crank pulley... like a 8" deflection!! Put some LW on there and waited 30 min... came back to it and THONK!!! that bastard broke loose! I fuckin trashed my knuckel... but that was expected.
Oh, and LW is NON-flamable!

The fun comes later when you're *not* at the ER getting skin grafts... lol.
