Well I have officially given up trying to use this PS3.

This one is backwards compatible and plays PS2 and PS1 games.
System comes with everything including the box as well as these games
- Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
- Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
- Motorstorm
- Assassin's Creed

It also has a 2 year warranty through Bestbuy, and is transferable. It will come with the system and it expires 11/09

I would be surprised if I have more than 30 hours played time since I bought it six months ago.

What is the difference between 40G and 80G beside more double the memory? Why do I need 80G? Let me check with my boss, she might let me..

40GB has no backwards compatibility, only 2 USB ports up front and no memory card readers either.

Otherwise, I think they are identical.

I pretty much bought it for GT5, and the prologue is kind of a letdown in my book. I can't handle first person shooters on a console, and I think I'll just buy a G25 with the money and start playing some PC racing sims.

Don't forget, Prologue is really just a glorified demo. The full game is probably more than a year away from coming out, though, so maybe its not really worth holding onto the console "just to see".
