We are continually improving our products to maintain the high standards you(our customers) expect from a company like ours. This is a job we truly take to heart...and truly enjoy.

Recently we have made a few updates to our exhaust pipe line:

1. Exhaust Pipe Flanges now CNC Machined - We have sold over 600 exhaust pipes and for the most part, all flanges have been good. However, we did have one batch that had some flanges with a bit of warping. We took care of any customers that did have a problem(only a handful), however, we need to make sure something like this does not happen again. All pipes will have CNC Machined flanges us which ensures that the flanges will remain perfectly flat.

2. Flex Joint - Upgrade to thicker stainless - From the start we have always used a very high quality flex joint, in doing so we have had no issues with the flex joint. Recently we have come across a flex joint that has even thicker piping...of course we need to upgrade to this new flex joint. All pipes now contain this even stronger flex joint!

3. Length of HiFlow Crosspipe - We have extended this pipe by a few millimeters. Out of 250 HiFlow Crosspipes sold this month we have had a couple that were slightly to short. This has been fixed and we will continue to expect our quality assurance crew to keep an eye on them for you.

4. EWG Side-Outlet Support - Our EWG Up pipes are now equipped with a support underneath the sideoutlet to ensure you will have no cracks in the top weld of the side outlet. We havent had issues with this, but we know some of our competitors have, so we are just being proactive to make sure we continue to be free of problems.

Thank you for your continued support. We will keep working hard over here to maintain our premium quality standards!

Is it just me, or the pic, or are the welds on the EWG support super undercut??? Every other weld looks excellent, but the support looks undercut, which could possibly do more harm than good for strength, no???

I think it is just the angle of the pic..i see what you are saying though. We've never had issues with that weld.

I just picked up one of the standard up pipes, that is a nice piece you are selling, very nice quality. Can't wait to get it on the car! Just wish you would have included the torque specs in the instructions for the install.

So Perrin didn't provide them, Turboxs didn't either and said to remove the turbo to install it (F that!), Scoobymods had a link to Cobb which I couldn't find any and their own instructions which also didn't provide any, Vishnu said 26-30 but only for the lower joint and DP. Should that be for all of the joints?
Thanks;)

Personally, I'd do new OEM or Grimmspeed gaskets and crank them down as tight as possible with a 1/2" ratchet.
