I just got my dad's old rifles Friday, since he doesn't use them. I thought I got a .30-06, a .243, and a .223, but it's actually a .222 :unamused:
I got six 20-round boxes of .223 at Wal mart for $61.07, so I'm looking to sell it for $10 a box, or trade it 2 rounds for 1 round of .222, 1 round for 2 rounds of .40, or make an offer :)

Are there no returns on ammo at Walbogs?

Congrats on the rifles, the .222 was a sweet cartridge back in the day, and still very effective. Just not a variety of ammo and nothing as inexpensive as it should be, as you no doubt have discovered.
Returns on ammo is a bad idea, I doubt they accept it.

Yeah, wal mart doesn't return ammo.
I really like the .222, even tho it sounds like a 12 gauge, it kicks like a .22, which is nice. The ammo is twice as much as the .223, and I can't hardly find it anywhere, even tho there is .223 everywhere. Oh well, it is what it is. And I really do like the rifles, thanks for the congrats
