View Full Version : Looks like we had a corrupted database file just now...

I repaired it via phpMyAdmin... it was the table that manages the thread read data (it tracks whether or not you've read a thread or not). I'm not sure if anything was corrupted, but if there was data loss, it's not much of a big deal.

I'm getting a database error when I click "New Posts".

Okay... yet another corrupt table repaired. I get the distinct feeling that our server must be rebooting while there are files open on the FS. :unamused:

That DB error contains all the info I needed. But it doesn't matter now because I ran the repair on *all* the tables instead. It was the search table that was broken.
The Misc. brands that KSTech carries or can get (http://www.seccs.org/forums/showthread.php?t=8482&goto=newpost) thread is giving me this error:

Yeah, I noticed that Kevin was the last poster listed on the main forum page, but when I click on the thread, his post doesn't show up.
Maybe that's a "feature", not a "defect". I dunno... ;)
