Here are pics of how my progress has been on my 99' Civic Dx hatch. It has 99' Integra Type-r engine and tranny, K-Sport full coils, Blox purple LCAs, Beaks purple tie bar, Buddy Club Spec 2 catback exhaust with Omni Power test pipe, Buddy Club seat with Memory Fab rails, Sparco 4 point cam lock harness, and the most recent purchase is the wheels which are 16"x8" +34 offset Rota slipstreams in flat black running a 205/40/16 tire. Also has Honda S2000 11.8" rotors redrilled to 4x100 and Mugen calipers.

Goals before summer: get it running and safe for the streets and Autopower 4 point roll bar.

Awesome build! Wish the tires were a touch wider to match those rims, but that's nitpicking. What class would it be in?

Prepared, unless he can get a full interior in. Or TSU I suppose.

the tires are just for show right now. when i start racing, i will be running 225 or 235 tires. and the car will be gutted always. going to be getting a cage and a few other things for it soon.

thanks for the comments

What kind of racing will you do? Autocross? Drag? Track? Drift?

The main thing will be autocross and track days. I may take it to the drag strip once or twice. My hopes are to have it in the mid to low 13s with slicks or drag radials. As for autocross, I'd hope to keep up with some of you lightly modded Wrx guys. haha

After this car is track ready, I'll be modding the BMW as a daily show car. Maybe do a little vip, but keep it to a minimum.

You might want to download SCCA Category Preparation Allowances.

ya, should be pretty quick car for a honda.

does scca have restrictions on how loud a car is? cause my exhaust is 2.5" no muffler and running a test pipe. haha

95 db if I remember correctly. And it's going to be enforced this season for the first time in a while because some seriously loud cars have been running lately.

Thank God! besides a bit of a safety issue (not hearing a red flag called when certain cars go by) it will be nice to not need to cover my ears and wait 30 seconds to call in downed cones.
