I think I need to replace it anyways,
One of the connectors for the defroster got ripped off on the metal last year and I used some silver conductive epoxy, which worked for a while, but it does not work anymore. It isn't really solderable and I managed to tear off more metal today when I tried to remove the old epoxy. So I guess what I'm getting at is, where is a good place I can get the window replaced? I checked out some of the old threads on here where people had windows replaced but they are all 3+ years old so i figured it couldn't hurt to make a new one. I'll get some pictures of the connector tomorrow I know I didn't give the best explanation

A new piece of glass is probably going to be pricey. You can get replacement bits for just about everything involved with a rear defrost from tabs to foil and paint/glue. Google search (http://www.google.com/search?q=repair+rear+window+defrost&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a)

Otherwise, just call around and get your best cash price. Smaller shops often have better deals than the large ones.

The price to replace my rear glass in the Forester was about $180 through Briteglass IIRC. This was early 2010. A WRX should be similar.

Dean I think I've completely ruined the electric piece/wiring/tab on the actual window  I might as well just get it all replaced. Can most places make it basically OEM?.... I guess I need to call around haha
Thanks for the help guys!

Oops forgot about this, sorry guys haha. I got quoted 530 from glass pros, fast glass, and briteglass.....:| I cut off the clip and stripped the rubber off the wire and re-epoxied it and it worked. (For now at least )
