Boy am I pissed. That's the 2nd time on I-80, in under 2 years.
Now I need to decide whether to get it fixed/replaced thru insurance - or just live with it. I think the last time I did that my rates went up.

Your rates probably did not go up due to that claim. A windshield repair claim would be considered a comprehensive claim. Comprehensive claims normally will not make your rates go up. Collison claims are what raises rates if it was your fault in a accident.

No accidents, no tickets, just that windshield claim in 2002.
Thanks Art. Good, then I'm going to get it replaced. (Maybe rates went up across the board for all wrx's. I think I heard that about a year ago.)

Every 6 months my rates seem to go up about $3/mo.

WRX's are steadily going up. With the amount of At-Fault accidents, overall age of WRX owners, speeding tickets, theft ratings, etc etc.....there rating has gone up quite a bit.

Unfortunatly. :(

Just wait till your insurance company finds your most recent speeding ticket...

Debbie, you should hold off with replacing/repairing the windshield till the spring since there's just going to be more sand on it between now and then, unless you have a saftey issue with the current one.

Fast Glass and the like can install a new windshield for under $200 the last time I checked. I'll probably be getting one this spring, as my current windshield eats new wipers up in about a week.

Good idea, thanks Scott.

I took a HUGE rock off the front of my hood today, the weird thing was, the clearbra sent it over the top of the car, very good rebound rate on that stuff.

If I ever get a paint job I'll have to get a clearbra. I could use a rebound rate myself!

You should slow down while driving in reverse, man. That's not safe.
