those are the lugs I think Scott, Matt(when his winter tires on), me and I'm sure a few others have

edit: ohh and I might have 16 of them if anyone wants to get some spares? I will sell them for 4x10$ and they are used (off my car). I got some other ones that are a little different in design made by C-West that I want to put on my car I think

Finally got everything in and went to get the setup installed today. Unfortunately, the lugnuts are significantly larger than what the hole in the wheel allows. Now I'm going to have to do some more digging to find similar, but thinner lugs.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have a set of not so great ones you can borrow for a Subaru thread, and can give you the info on the spline drive ones I am using now.

Thank you very much for your offer, Dean. Unfortunately, I don't get up to Reno very often, and I'd like to have this taken care of by the end of next week.

I heard back from tuning depot, and here was their response.

"You'll most likely need lugs with this type of shape,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33749
We have these in stock for the honda applications (12 x 1.5) and they fit
perferctly down the bolt hole for the lightstars."

Those look like the type of lugs you were recommending against?

Another place suggested these lugs as a possibility, but saying they were "not 100% sure. However, they are the smallest lugs available. They should fit."

The Tuning depot guys weren't trying to sell you the Honda lugs were they?

I quoted their entire response. I don't see that as really trying to sell anything since they linked to an auction for another company.

Ah, I didn't check the link- it's for 12x1.25 lugnuts. Glad they weren't as dumb as I first thought.

The top ones are the ones I do not recomend. I have a set sitting in my garage you can borrow if you want. They look like these...

http://www.prestigewheel.com/Image5642.asp

Here are the spline drive ones I'm using on my Lightstars at Prestige Wheel..

http://www.prestigewheel.com/Image5660.asp
Nuts: 12x1.25 for Subaru: # 5657 (Closed End)
Nuts: 12x1.5 for Honda: # 5655 (Closed end), or 5665 (Open end)
Key: 5699SK

I got a full set plus a full wheel of spares, and two drive sockets for under $50

Notice the spline drives have a seat from .570 to .810, whereas the tube ones are only .550 to .750 The spline seat is further out in the meat of the seat, and is taking the beating I'm giving them on the track and autocross.

This place had just about every lug not there is, so browse around if you want.

If they give you crap about a minimum order, I'll take a spare key. I'm beating them up using my cordless impact as much as I do. (I know, they say no impacts, but that is why I got a spare.)

I guess if you are looking at any other lugs, you want to make sure they are about .810 wide as that is about as big as I think will fit into the lightstars.

I actually have 6 of the 12x1.5 closed end ones lying around because they shipped me some of the wrong ones if you want them.

What color are the Prestige lug nuts you linked to?
