I haven't really seen a lip that I liked that wasn't painted in the first place. I wouldn't mind a nice, aerodynamic rear lip, either. I don't want to dramatically reduce my overall ground clearance, or at least I want the lip to be easy to remove.

Are you having them replace everything with OEM? Bumper too? If so, does that sound right price-wise? Are they giving you a warranty on their repairs?
Good luck, Joel.

Yes, they are getting all replacement parts from the dealer. The only change will be the STI bumper for the WRX bumper. My theory is that when they get it on the rack, they may find more wrong with it.

I honestly don't know what is fair and what isn't, but the quote seems more appropriate to me now that I understand not everything is bolt-on... at least assuming there isn't serious damage I haven't spotted yet.

They are a Progressive (my insurance) network shop so the repair is double-warrantied. Hopefully, that means they'll do a good job. :)

That seems really low actually- I got a $2700 settlement for the accident I had last summer, when some broad in a pickup backed up into my car. The estimate was just for replacing the bumper cover, bumper beam, grill, hood, and painting.
