SP allows any brake lines, but all else must be stock size. Slotted/drilled rotors OK, but no 2-piece unless it came with them.

. Of the alternatives, NESP >> STU... but if you've done SS lines, you might be screwed... we need to double check on the brake rules for SP. But if SS lines aren't allowed, and I already had 'em on my STi, I'd just get a reflash and run in SM.
I take it this was directed towards me since I just did my lines this weekend :evil: If I have to run SM I am so going to be broke/possibly single and living in my SUBIHLR :shock: |

Cool, thanks Dean! I couldn't remember the specifics on brakes in SP. All I rememberd was being stunned that you couldn't upgrade them. I guess the "upgrades" I was thinking of were full-on BBKs.
So, if SS lines, pads, rotors, and fluid are allowed, then that's pretty good! I feel sorry for the Mustang boys with their ass OEM brakes that they can't really do much about, considering they're up against the OEM Brembos of the STi and EVO. Either way... I'm all about BOOOOOST this season in SM. But I think I'm gonna need more of it to be competative. :( |
