What's the usual charge for vanities?

I think it was only $30 or so on top of what we had to pay to register here...

I can't believe NV takes the CA way and charges based on MSRP. =/

Yeah, it's about $30 extra.

And suddenly I understand the NIN song title. I always thought the song was an obscure reference to gears.

Now that's a good first post! Referencing NIN while being helpful! :D Welcome to the board!

Clearly Scott doesn't read all the BDSM SPAM he gets... http://www.internetopina.com/images/...s2/Bondage.gif

My RS's plate starts with 5BRU, which almost looks like SBRU from a distance ;)

 I almost went with "Pinion" as my name here. But figured many members of the Subaru community know me as NYR and would shower me with gold bullion and/or praise upon my arrival to the SECCS.

And thanks for the welcome.

So you're saying I should get "BUG STI"?

DZ 2006-01-23 11:48 AM

STi - XSIVPSI
Mustang - GR40 GT

The plate on the STi was a transfer from my old 02WRX and it false advertising at this point. though it does shock many of my Mustang friends when I tell them I am running 17.5 PSI when 8 is fairly standard on the kits for the Mustangs.

The Mustang plate is a reference to the Griggs Racing suspension on the car...

I would imagine that even he would admit that Griggs is quality stuff.

When it came down to making the decision on which to buy I went with the Griggs because they were an hour from where I used to live and that was enough to push me over the edge. And for what it is worth, I have the Maximum Motorsports front swaybar relocation kit on the car as well, just don't tell Bruce...

 Considering all the back-and-forth between the Griggs and Maximum AI cars on track, I'm sure he respects the Griggs lineup.

AtomicLabMonkey 2006-01-23 12:21 PM

Conceptually most Griggs pieces I've seen are fine. I have a problem with the designed (lack of) fatigue strength of some of their parts & manufacturing quality, based on some of the broken parts I've seen come off track cars.

Or FAKESTI, maybe DEBTWRX, or CCRACER.

MattR 2006-01-23 03:31 PM

Or,
IMBROKE

Scott, I like the idea of the BUGSTI plate, cool. You should swap it out,

I don't think so... it's 7 total, and that's it. Worse yet, I want the '82 replica blue and white plates, and they have a max of 6 characters. :(
