Thats why you have to mod them you silly bastid. Im gonna make a set and then I will sell it to you when you see how awesome it works.

 Good luck with that. Most people would avoid a 2 foot long, 2 unsprung-pound piece of plastic attached to the knuckle. I had something similarly shaped on my car that was about 10 times smaller than a snorkus, and it was too heavy and shook the steering. It'll be interesting to see what you come up with.

That is so crazy it has to work. I have seen something similar to this once, only it was on a honda, and it was a cold air intake... so I guess it wasnt similar at all.

What? I guess you're not aware that virtually every real race car that turns laps around a real track is equipped with air ducts for the brakes?

Instead of using round hose that is big and bulky and drags on the ground, why dont you use a flat maybe rectangle shape hose. Or maybe even make one out of heavy canvas that wouldnt easily break off on an impact but would flex with the changes in suspension height.

Again, what?

seriously though, I think you could mod 2 of the ram air things and make it work perfectly since they are made for flowing air.

And finally, what?

These are some of the worst ideas for a track car I've ever heard. That hi-temp silicone hose is used for a reason, it flows a decent amount of air and it withstands high temperatures near the brakes. And your backing plate that attaches to the spindle needs to be a sturdy, well designed metal or composite piece, not some hacked up snorkus.

To the first "what". I was being sarcastic. sorry for the mixup.

To the second "what"
He said that the hose dragged on the ground when the suspension was compressed. So I was merely trying to think of something that was flat and would still move air to the brakes.

Third "what"
The air intake thing is too big. I can see that. I was mainly considering the shape of it. To me it looks like a good shape that would suck up to the brake duct in the factory bumper. I didnt know that it needed to be so hi-temp. I dont have a track car so I dont know how hot it gets nor to I claim to. I just knew that my car has thin plastic fender liners next to the brakes and those do fine. Sorry if I threw out some of the worst ideas ever.

Scott, what weight are you looking for, whats the weight of that kit dean has?

OK, I found yet another problem... The dang hose go right where the front tie downs are... :( Good thing I have extra zip ties... :)

You will need a lot of zip ties to hold your car in place on the trailer

No, just two. One through the front side windows, and one through the back.
