That wasn't very nice. Didn't your mother ever teach you to not wish death upon people? Its bad manners.

JonnydaJibba 2008-07-09 12:37 PM

I think wishing death upon people was apart of Cory's dinner prayers.

cody 2008-07-09 12:50 PM

I'm pretty sure any Mr. Garrison quote makes a good prayer.

bign 2008-07-09 02:25 PM

 there may be some back story here that I am missing...

If you really do want to make them I can get a quote from my friend and see what's up. Just let me know.

JonnydaJibba 2008-07-09 02:30 PM

The back story is somebody has been (understandably) too busy to have new ones made. But there is a link to a different thread with the design on page 1. You sound like you aren't busy, so I'm sure with Scott's permission (I believe he designed them) you could make some.

MPREZIV 2008-07-09 03:23 PM

Basically, it's been discussed about a million times, like John said, and discussing it more isn't going to do anything but probably piss off the person/people who have control over it... who've already responded in this thread.

Like MattR said, it's just making matters worse...

wrxkidid 2008-07-09 08:46 PM

and Cory talks a lot of smack he cant back up so I try to keep him in his place.

Oh off topic but Cory I might be getting another car with a 4g63t in it :)

Dean 2008-07-09 09:16 PM

The only way stickers will ever be made is if I say there is no way it will ever happen. That has the remotest possibility of motivating Scott just enough to do it, just so I won't be right... ;)

wrxkidid 2008-07-09 10:31 PM

bign 2008-07-10 12:59 AM

oh good lord... somebody send me a template

Dammit people patience is a virtue. When Scott feels like making stickers he will, or if he decides he doesn't want to he'll ask someone to. Your relentless nagging isn't helping, it's just pissing me off, and it's a waste of good internet.

Yeah he really should quit. Every time Robby talks trash on the internet a fairy steals his wallet.

bobby clear your pm box bitch!

doubleurx 2008-07-10 08:02 PM

I'm still convinced it was the extra weight of those damn stickers that fried my '03 wrx's tranny at Fernley (certainly not my shifting) and then later the glue that holds those stickers to the window induced some sort of screwed up trance that made me trade in my STI. Damn those stickers, Damn them to Hell!

definitely wouldn't be a bad idea...

NevadaSTi 2008-07-11 08:49 AM

Oh crap, I think you are right. My car was one of the last cars to get a pair of available stickers! Damn, and I sold the stickers to Pete for a lot of money. He got the car for free!

Dean 2008-07-11 09:08 AM

Man, I should sell my spares from the original run.

I have a left and right slant. (Which Scott has said he isn't doing any more but I think are the best ones.) and two straight ones... in Slate gray.

Bidding starts at $100 for the left / right pair and $20 each for the straight ones. :)

I had some of the oversize black ones, but gave them all away I think at the Solo Nationals a few years back..

Cool, loan me $600 to cover the cost of getting them made and I'll get you a whole stack. Then show up to every meet for the next 2 years with a laptop and an inventory spreadsheet to manage selling them and get your $600 back. :P

I think you guys underestimate the work involved. I want stickers too, but I'm not giving out the club's intellectual property to someone to go get them made... I'm only going to deal directly with the sticker maker myself so I have a guarantee on the quality of the stickers and a legal contract between SECCS and the sticker shop (currently, only MattR and I are legally representatives of the not-for-profit company known as SECCS). Also, I'm not going to float the cost for them out of pocket (I've done it before... if I'm going to spend that kind of money again, I'm just going to buy my own cutter), and I don't have the time to manage a bunch of pre-orders to collect money up front, or the time to do the eventual inventory tracking after they're made.

As soon as someone that comes to all the meets on a regular basis steps up to handle the inventory issues, all the wishing and complaining in the world isn't going to procure stickers.

Dewey 2008-07-11 09:14 AM

ill give ya 10 for a straight one :)

thats completely understandable. sorry for underestimating the matter.

MattR 2008-07-11 09:18 AM

I found that I have a set of Original L/R slanted Blue stickers. I'm saving them for our new car though.
