Spotted a Burgandy Lotus Elise Roadster and what appeared to be a yellow Ultima GTR heading west bound on Glendale.

MattR 2005-09-02 09:20 PM

Appearantly, there is a Yellow Panoz Esperante running around town. I'd like to see that.

Dude, we saw one at Seca a while back... it looked like a front engined Porsche w/ a shitty bumper kit on it, remember?

(sorry for the huge pics, the resize tag won't work on suck long filenames for some reason)

ShawnS 2005-09-02 11:16 PM

I think Matt was referring to this ugly bastard. However, what I saw was smaller than the Esperante.

It seems the town is now overflowing with NSXi, Skylines(4 that I have seen), a handful of elises, and to my suprise a ton of GTIs.

The shinning star that I saw today while out and about paying 3.35 a gallon was a vector v12...probably the same one I saw in a longs parking lot last year...but this time it was white instead of redish. But, same utah plates+different color=96.3% chance of it being the same car.

Glad to see somebody finally got a cover on the RS, JC :-)

Saw SPOOLN the other day (Saturday I think) turning onto I80 from West McCarren in his Eclipse/Talon.

Lurker 2005-09-16 12:11 PM

Hey, just moved to reno. I see a ton of wrxs out there, but getting no love with the wave. I drive a black 04 wrx wagon. Hopefuly I'll see a few of you out there.

cody 2005-09-16 01:05 PM

Welcome Lurker, I'm a noob to Reno too. I had to give up on the wave too. I have a low tolerance for rejection. :)

MikeSTI 2005-09-16 03:15 PM

 in hill country I have noticed that the wave can only be expected from people that have stickers on thier cars or some sort of visable mods done.

otherwise everyone in Reno owns a Subaru

This is true, I hardly get waves unless it's someone on the board I already know.

M3n2c3 2005-09-20 03:39 PM

Bruspeed, I passed by you on your way south out of Carson at about 3:45 this afternoon

I didn't see you in time to wave, though :P

SlickNick112 2005-09-20 05:39 PM

Carson City be on the lookout for my baby, Heidi's had to drive my car for the last couple of days.

M3n2c3 2005-09-20 07:59 PM

I would, but I'll be in Texas until Sunday :P

JonnydaJibba 2005-09-21 06:03 AM

Might have been "Ranger" Steve... doesn't he live in Carson, or maybe South Lake?

Sighting "ITSASTI"

I Saw "ITSASTI" , Im sorry, I don't know any of you guys.
That got to be the worst looking piece of straight pipe exhaust I have ever seen... LOL, But that car is fuc_in LOUD!!. Thats actually twice that ive seen him this week. I waved and got the wave in return (Like 2 days ago on McCarran). Tonight I saw him on McCarran and then followed him down 7th st and watched him cut offf 1 person and pass another using the turn lane, Good shit... (by the way I drive the 05 red wagon).

Yes, that exhaust is horrible looking....

Where's the line start!

of course I should clarify that with a quote from Matt when I took him for a ride in my car:

"dude, that was the closest to a complete disaster in a car I've ever experienced, but I'm cool with it"
