Um... stalker-ish? Stocker-ish is like "OEM-ish"...

I figured if/when we ever figure out a real club name, we'd make some cards up... it shouldn't cost all that much at Kinko's or something to get a few hundred business cards made up... then we can give them out to members to toss under Subaru windshield wipers.

This might even help with promoting Debbie's WRX contest!

So... uh... let's come up with a better name so I can register the domain.

I have a lady in my Business Networking group that does printing. I will ask her and see what she can do and how much it would be for a ton of business-sized cards (once we figure a name of course).

Then we can compare to kinko's. she should hook me up. I wrote her insurance  I can make things happen 8)

Wow. I saw tons of Subaru's tonight.

Saw JC at a party. Dude, your cars looks sick now that it is even lower

Then meet up with Evan and another 2.5RS and WRX at the races. We represented well there. Overall, fun night :D

Art!!! Did you wave at me at McCarran and Plumb? Saturday early evening....I was staring at a girl in a beetle and my roomate says, " Some guy in a black wrx wagon just waved at you", but I was staring into space, sorry dude,,,hAHA

ArthurS 2003-06-01 10:35 PM

Yea that was me. I saw your passenger look right at me, but no wave back :( Almost thought it may not have been you.

ArthurS 2003-06-02 04:19 PM

I saw a yellow srt-4 in front of my work today. I got a good look inside also. I think those things are so damn ugly. I would never be caught driving one of those. It looks like the car was put togeather like crap.

Everyone has their own opinions, but gawd thats ugly. Just thought I would share. :D :P

dknv 2003-06-03 12:39 PM

Matt - was that you I waved at last night, leaving Albertson's on Keystone?

MattR 2003-06-03 12:41 PM

That was me, I waved back, but I don;t think you can see into my car so well...hehe, sightings are cool

dknv 2003-06-03 12:47 PM

You're right, with your tinted windows at night, I couldn't tell for sure.
But I haven't seen another white wagon with body kit - so my chances were good it was you.

ArthurS 2003-06-16 07:13 PM

Hey Matt:

I saw you going up McCarren by Lakeside today around 7:30 pm. I waved, but you seemed distracted. :(

MattR 2003-06-16 07:29 PM

Man! I'm becoming a typical WRX driver, not waving back at anyone... , you know, I think I was staring into the sun over there, maybe thats it...sorry dude.

ArthurS 2003-06-16 07:29 PM

I saw a F360 Spyder(Ferrari yah you know you like it) on Rock Blvd. on Sunday Morning. Teal, very mean looking. Old Guy driving and his Old lady in the passenger. I waved just to be funny. I should have made a U-turn and reved him at a light.

You had your visors down and still had your hand in front of your eyes. Must have been bright.

dknv 2003-07-14 03:44 PM

has anyone here seen the black 2.5rs with 'impresv' as its license plate? I've been tempted to put a note on windshield, but am waiting for those "you've been spotted' cards....

STIwish 2003-07-14 07:11 PM

I actually saw that 2.5rs on my way out of Reno weekend before last... nice car.. guy was with his girl. Saw another killer red one with CF hood, lowered with rims and exhaust (from what i could tell from my one glance) another nice car.

Total Respect

True Story.

Last week my wife and I pulled out from the ranch in Genoa. We had to wait for a slow moving Burb which was followed by a new Silver Ferrari Maranello NV# VODOICI. Well, I decide they're going too slow and swoosh by them at 65 +/-. Moments later the Ferrari comes around too and we kinda open it up just a tad. I backed off just over triple digits and he gave me the lights flash. We continued on up 395 together and stopped side to side at the lights at Jacks Valley. He rolls down the window as does my wife and says "Hey! I like your car...I REALLY like that car!" I hollered back "Your's isn't too shabby either!" we both grinned and went on our way.

Pretty cool to get props from someone driving a car that costs as much as a house. He was obviously a true automotive enthusiast, rather than someone driving a prancing horse for the status only.

Made my day.
