That would be sweet, but those powerstokes cost about $10k, then I have to modify the whole system to make it work.. God only knows how much that would cost. I am trying to save up enough money to get the motor rebuilt.

I like my car, if I liked the 06 better then the 05 I would trade it in for one. But alas, I do not like the 06's.

STi hid's are white, but I guess you could argue that they are bluish-white. The reason the cop would see the same color from the front as the side is because 04-05 STi hid's do not use a projector-style headlamp. Projectors change the color to blue, even purple, from the side due to the projectors glass bending the light. (I believe they only started using projector headlamps for the 06's right?)

So this is HELLA old, but a thread on another forum made me think of this. Did the charges end up getting dropped? I'm sure they did, but I'm just curious.

He gave me a verbal warning. I reminded him that they are the factory 50 State DOT legaal headlights. I have never heard anything else about it.
