Dean 2006-05-24 03:20 PM

Are you trying to find a roommate? Or re: Dean's post, you are looking for a spare?

And, if someone is giving up their room, please let me know.

tysonK 2006-05-24 03:32 PM

I signed up but now it looks like work is going to own me. bah.

I also did the online res early this month, and just today found out they never got the reservation entered.

Yes, I learned after Hawthorne 2003, that their registration process consists of nothing more than a card file, entered manually by the attendant. I called for my reservation on May2, and it's scary because the confirmation # they gave me is pretty much...0502... great system.

MattR 2006-05-24 04:54 PM

Oh, I just called the El Crap and I was given a phone # that goes right to reservations...The 800 # is having issues so they may not answer that.

775-945-3321.

Sounds like they are full, but if you are still looking for a room, the lady said there are usually some late cancellations on Friday morning.

Yeah, another roomate would be nice. $75 a night sucks. :(

Nick Koan 2006-05-24 06:03 PM

$75 a night?

I thought the rate was $38?

Kevin M 2006-05-24 06:27 PM

that's at the Crapitan. Best Inn is the nicest and therefore most expensive place in town.

Nick Koan 2006-05-24 08:58 PM

Well, I guess you get what you pay for

or, if your case you pay for what you get. The first part more applies to my cheap ass

Weather forcast is not typical for a N-S weekend!!!!

Forcast is a high of 61 degrees for Sat, and 67 for Sun. with chance of precip. both days. Bring layers/warmer clothes, and wind/rain stuff.

Oops!! Your avatar is messing me up!

aside, I guess the pool party is going to be a bit dry this year.

Dean 2006-05-26 08:33 AM

I'm headed back after Pizza anyway. Stuff to do Monday.

A1337STI 2006-05-26 10:35 AM

El craption is out of rooms. Who still has space left they are trying to sell ? I'm down for a Cot / extra bed . my other option is to camp out at the autox site. I'de be nice an early but very grimey by the end of sunday.

Kevin M 2006-05-26 10:37 AM

So, who is planning on leaving at one time? I was thinking I would leave a little later in the evening, like 6-6:30 to keep the drive a little cooler, but the weather is pretty nice, so I'm not picky about when.

Nick Koan 2006-05-26 10:43 AM

I'm trying to take a half-day here, and get on the road by 2 or 3.

Dean 2006-05-26 10:53 AM

I am guessing I won't leave until about 4-5...

A1337STI 2006-05-26 10:54 AM

I just schedualed an alignment my employer is nice enough to let me take a 2 hour lunch , and make up the extra hour after work. so the earliest i could leave is 6:00 from work. and i still need to pack. I may need to pack my Tent depending on if anyone has a extra room. I'm thinking about packing up my snow tires incase it rains, they have WAY better wet traction then my RE070s ...

Dean 2006-05-26 11:00 AM

I packed this morning, but now the weather is looking even colder. may have to go home for a sweatshirt, or jacket.

You don't want to run your snows at autocross.

Pat R. 2006-05-26 11:54 AM

Is the Holiday Lodge a decent place? I just got off the phone with them- $45/ night.
