Last night I was awaken by my dog's growl. 2 seconds later a small one hit.

Felt a 3.1 at the house today at 12:15 or so, shook the shit out of the computer monitor and me in the chair, freaked the cats out, the whole 9

You have 9 cats? Do they all sit at a round table.

Got some free time huh?

100_Percent_Juice 2008-04-22 09:25 PM

^I guess that makes two of us.

Dean 2008-04-24 02:49 PM

OK, that one was not funny. > 3.5 is my guess. Wonder if anything fell out of my garage rafters again?

moose 2008-04-24 02:51 PM

Woh, i just felt the earthquake just less than a minute ago. crazy

cody 2008-04-24 02:53 PM

I didn't even notice, but everyone else in the building did. I'm oblvious to them. I was living in the North Bay (Santa Rosa) when the Loma Prieta hit in '89 and was the only one who didn't feel it then too.

Okay, felt that one! Helps that I was upstairs this time, not on a 1 acre slab of cement (warehouse).

Dean 2008-04-24 02:58 PM

Damn... That one was almost as good.

moose 2008-04-24 02:58 PM

Holy Crap. Another one. Bye bye California.

SteveM 2008-04-24 03:00 PM

I just felt it on Mill and McCarren

moose 2008-04-24 03:00 PM

This is my first time really feeling an earthquake.:|

JonnydaJibba 2008-04-24 03:01 PM

The last time I felt one I lived in San Jose and it was during "The Big One" or whatever. Probably the same one that Cody speaks of. The highway flattening one.

moose 2008-04-24 03:06 PM

The first one was a 3.8 magnitude 2 miles out of Mogul and the second one was a 2.6 magnitude about 2 miles out as well.

Ah, yes, my finely tuned butt Dyno is right on..., I said > 3.5...

sperry 2008-04-24 03:15 PM

We felt the 3.8 one here at IGT. First time I've felt any of these recent quakes. Felt like someone fat was walking by my cube.

Seemed pretty minor to me, though I'm like 15 miles from the epicenter. Quakes don't bother me until they're in the 5.0+ range.

moose 2008-04-24 03:23 PM

There was also a 4.1 in the same area. and then after that there was a 2.5

cody 2008-04-24 03:28 PM

Where are you guys getting your info. According to this, the first was 3.8 and the 2nd 4.1

I guess there's been a bunch of little ones all day too:

This is a current list of all the earthquakes this week. Including the 12 recent ones today.

cody 2008-04-24 03:35 PM

Okay, thanks, that page is easier to read.

doubleurx 2008-04-24 03:49 PM

I felt that 4.2 up here. Bye Bye Mogul!

What the heck is going on down there. You guys have had what 80 earthquakes in the last month.
