Then we'de have a sick car..

Why can't they just "borrow" the prodrive P2 body style OMFG, !!!

$1100 for 4 4-pot calipers? (or is that just the rear 2) and only add $200 for floating 2 peice rotors, its a lot of money... but it seems like not too bad of a deal ?

That's $1100 for front 4-pots, and $1100 more for read 2-pots. So around $2200 to downgrade the STi brembos to the FHI WRX brakes that fit under rally wheels.

It's not a bad price, considering StopTech's race offerings for all 4 wheels are in the $9,000 range, and Brembo is like $15,000. Granted, those are for upgraded road racing brakes, not downgraded smaller brakes... but if you're building a race car, being able to replace all four corners for under $2500 is retarded cheap.

Wow... no performance boost on the STi? So really, all you get in the STi over the WRX... one extra gear and a DCCD. Sure there are some other gizmos... brake force distribution, SiDrive ECU, sportier suspension... but none of that IMO makes up for the price gap.

I am surprised that Subaru has done nothing substantial to the STI. Basically the modifications are minimal even when compared to the 2004.

Yep, the WRX on the other hand has gotten better and better. I'd seriously consider a 2011 WRX if it weren't for the weak pistons and open diffs.

That sedan is almost as ugly as the Bug Eyes. :p

But I do have to say that the sedan does look better than the earlier 08-10 sedans.

I don't even know if part B there is true (part A surely isn't! :p ).

Sure the newest sedans look way more aggressive than the '08-'10 models, but I don't know if they're "better looking". The kinda look like the fenders were frankensteined on there. At least the old sedan, while boring and Corolla looking, were at least cohesive.

I like the hatch better. But then again that is what I have.
