I really don't think I'm ready to compete yet. I'm having a BLAST driving out there, and that's what's really important to me, not so much "winning", but when I do race in a class, I want to be competitive, so I feel like I should wait and get all the experience I can in the meanwhile.

Ahhh. You are talking about PAX season results, not the PAX factors...

Everything is linked correctly, just the typo on the 2006 text itself. That will have to wait until tonight. Can't SCP out from work...

that's right... Don't get drawn into the white man's power trip. :) Just hang out and be cool brother...

That's one of the reasons I'm driving the Stock Miata. I got no power, no chance for TTOD, little chance for a good PAX finish... but ton's of stuff to learn. I could have bought an STI and made a BSP killer and gone for the gusto, but don't think I would have had as much fun, or learned as much.

I think your WRX in ESP would have been a decent PAX car.

Regionally, yes, but not without a 2.5l swap at a national tour level.

Dean being "ethinic" or "hip" is funny.

SteveM 2006-04-13 08:00 AM

Not that it matters really, but #157 "Unknown" is me -- Steve M

The slowest WRX out there!

bruspeed 2006-04-13 08:05 AM

Damn you Brian, .1 second in pax. If you don't let me win pax, you can't stay at my house. :P

Your name wasn't on the worker sign up sheet, just the class and car number, so I just put Unknown.

Sweet, thanks to all for posting up the Results.

And Mike you did write down the car that Cody Owns correctly. But on Saturday he Co-driver my 05 STI. (I must have not written my car make/model down clearly enough, my penmanship is very poor)

I'm defiantly Running at least 2 more as novice, maybe up to 5 more before I switch into a class. (Probably into sm if I wanted to have a plethora of Competitors)

If I can't read anyone's handwriting, I either make up a name and car for them that looks close, or just leave it out. It is frustrating enough dealing with the crappy software without also dealing with retards who can't write.

Yeah, who's that "Wetring" fella again?

Joeyy 2006-04-13 10:19 AM

Anyone know if or how many ESP may show up later in year? Think the Wagon did ok and I'm going to attempt a Safeway sponsor for a grocery getter.

cody 2006-04-13 11:16 AM

I intend to run TESP.

Retards that can't write :P funny , *sarcasm* and Retards who can't remember that i have the same car as you cuase i only asked you about those headers a dozen times the day of. not to mention you Drove my car LoL , there's also my Car model in every post i make :P and the link in this thread with photos of my car, I did apologize for the bad hand writing, but honestly you're retarded too there bro !

Nick Koan 2006-04-14 08:57 AM

Trust me dude, when you've got a stack of 100 entry slips, you aren't going to take the time to remember every single person you might have met throughout the day, you'll just want to get the data entry in.

You can't expect the dude behind the computer to remember everyones name, class and car, do you?

Again, you know not of what you speak.

Try entering 40 plus entries into a computer in 15 minutes or less from when you get the sheets until the worker captain starts harrasing you for one of the sheets while people keep constantly interrupting, and you need to split novices, etc.

If you can't write legibly and complete a simple 6 box form, we just don't care if we call you Mother F'er who can't write in the Slobaru.

Step up and voulenteer and show us how retarded we are, or shut up...

Was just giving you some needed shit :P , Simmer down children :P

You have to admit, though, it is tough to take a little ribbing from a retard. I can usually take it from a good friend or collegue. But when a retard calls you out, its hard to tell if they are serious or not. You know, with the drooling and all.

I'll tell you what, the last people that need some shit at the autocross is Timing and Scoring. We bust our asses, and get virtually no praise because no one (including you) seems to have a grasp at what we have to contend with. Yet, when things get screwed up, we take all the heat.

Like that hour delay on Saturday while we tried to fix the lights after some yahoo decided to drive over the timing cables... not our fault, but we take the blame 'cause it's a "timing issue".

And if I remember correctly, it wasn't your poor handwriting that prevented your car from being listed, it was because you never wrote it down or because you ran Novice. When we've got 100 people to enter and we're already wrapping up the drivers meeting, novice car data gets ignored because changes are at the next event that novice driver will have a new number and we'll have to reenter her/him from scratch anyway, while the rest of the drivers are simply imported from the previous event making their details more important.

Like Dean said, you should get some idea what you're talking about before spouting off. Just because you don't mean to offend doesn't mean you're not offensive.

That picture is perfect for this thread now Cody ! Thanks :) That picture explains why i shouldn't bother telling Scott that yes i did write down my car make/model both days. so instead i'll just Agree with Scott. its my fault for writing down something like ShortBus for my car . I would hope most people would realize that a few smiles with tonques sticking out :P would mean that the person is joking around, not that i'm so angry i'm biting down on my tongue, but i could see where the confusion would set in ...

 simmer down !

Nick Koan 2006-04-14 10:32 AM

Well, when you overload a message with smilies and no paragraph breaks, it makes it hard to really deciper what you are saying. I'm not just refering to your poor attempts at sarcasm, but every single post.

Get some reading comprehension. I don't care if you're kidding, I'm offended. Telling me to "simmer down" isn't exactly the best way to un-piss me off.

Like I said, you ran novice, I didn't enter your car into the computer due to time constraints. You're not a retard because you can't write properly, you're a retard because you can't seem to get it into your head that you're pissing off all the people that bust their asses making the autocross happen. Instead of attempting yet another miserably failing whitty comeback, how about shutting your mouth before you dig yourself into an even deeper hole.

You're the classic case of someone that joins a group and immediately decides they "fit in" and are down with the regulars w/o taking the time to learn how things actually operate. That's why you took so much heat for post whoring, and why you look like a dipshit right now arguing with the people that have spent the last 4 years making this club successful and making autocross available to Reno. Take a step or two back and go with the flow for a bit. If you want to contribute to the group, figure out what's needed first... 'cause we certainly don't need to be told how to do our jobs by someone that's never done it himself.

A1337STI 2006-04-14 10:43 AM

Sorry to those i offended, it was not my intention.
