I saw that IMPRZZV jerk last night
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...an/mpreziv.jpg What a scumbag, I ran my ass all over his doorhandles and farted on his hood just kidding |

Saw Lonnie and Hillary in their Brighton. Too bad they are too cool to wave. You would think somebody who has been to your house would remember your car. Especially if they drive Subarus too. Hmf. So if any of you guys see them driving around, the only way you'll get them to wave is if you moon them or something.

I've still not been "here" enough to post this. Yes, I tried explaining that I was so feverish and delirious on Saturday I couldn't decide if that was you or not. =.P And that I made up my mind when I saw the Nurburgring on teh side. I/we were going to Jamba Juice for the largest Mega Mango with double immunity and who knows what else they ended up putting in there. But, yeah, be disappointed with Lonnie "Do you know that car/person from SECCS?" "........iono. Looks like Jonny's.." He should know just as well as me.. -.- |
Sillies. I don't think Jamba Juice will cure the bird flu. You have to take like medicine or something.
|
Well, I was hoping my immune system would take care of it for me.
I'm on the mend. Things were getting back to normal starting Monday night. |
a couple of evenings a go I was by Winco (south end of town)getting on 395 (Northbound) when I spot a white Legacy GT with aftermarket exhaust, lowered, and tinted windows, zoom by. I "tried" to catch up since I was just entering the freeway in the RS. Long story short, I loved the way it looked...

Blue GC on Vista last Dec...
....
|
If I recall correctly, I think the one I saw was the darker color blue... and had gold wheels. It was dark tho. I could just barely tell that it wasn't green or black.
|
I'm getting my custom plates sooner or later... but if you see an 08 impreza running around the So. Meadows/Damonte area without plates... its probably me.:P
|
GC Suby on Vista
....
|
I saw an RS yesterday w/ "GC8LUV" on the plate over near the Neil Road roundabout.
Couldn't see who was driving it... but I can say they need to work on their apex coming out of the ATM parking lot onto Keitzke. Late apexing means slow corner exit speed as you're pinched down into the left lane, though I appreciate you not coming over into my big red truck in the right lane. ;) |

So what happened to the sightings thread? No Subarus on the road in Reno in the last 4 days?
|
We kinda stopped pointing out sightings unless it's someone we already know, or otherwise interesting. Otherwise there'd be like 40 posts per person up here with all the Outbacks, Legacies, and Imprezas tooling around Reno.
In fact the thread was created in 2002 and even then we were bitching about how common Subarus were getting. |
None worth mentioning. I have been seeing a red ZO6 in south reno. I like it, I like it a lot.
|
Yep, thats true...I come down from Cold Springs every day and I usually see 20+ Subarus every time. I don't start seeing any nice ones until I get near UNR. I do spot a yellow WRX wagon with black rims every once in a while on Virginia near I-80, but I haven't seen it in a couple of weeks I think...

Not as nice as the silver Lambo I saw 2 days ago by Winco. |

It was REALLY nice!!! |

Because assuming I could afford the Lambo, I wouldn't care about longevity or reliability...But to each his own... |

I saw a black (with colormatched ugly part) audi r8 near topanga canyon blvd last night.

Sure the newer Lamborghini's are impressive machines, but they're just impressive in the way that the Veyron is impressive: on paper and on the check-book. They're the supercar equivalent of 22" rims... all bling, little bite. |

That sounds like the one we saw |

Around UNR, I seem to hear more Subies that I see. They are usually driving down 9th st. I have seen a Legacy GT coupe in the faculty parking lot next to the admin. building on campus...no mods that I can see except a nice sounding exhaust.
|
You guys must be kidding me. Thats like living on the beach and saying "damn, there are so many boats around here...". We live in a place that requires a 4wheel/awd vehicle to get around in the winter, so obviously Subaru, being an awesome car in the winter, is popular.

I saw something today that had me laughing for a good 4 miles. I was going east on 80 probably around 4pm and traffic was all bottled up. It appears that there were 2 accidents, the second was a rear ender caused by backup from the first accident. As I come up on the rear ender, I see that its a purple looking honda civic that smashed into the back of a white minivan. The civic was totaled and as I passed him, the kid driver reached up to adjust his mirror and it broke off in his hand. He looked down at it in his hand as if to say "did that just happen?"
|
So even though you could swing a dead monkey by its tail and hit a Subaru around here, I have only ever seen one other San Remo Red WRX since I got mine four years ago. Seen plenty of 2.5i wagons in the same red, but not WRX. So I am driving home to my new neighborhood of two weeks, and what do I see driving into the same area, another SRR WRX! Wierd...
(haven't seen it again yet, so maybe it doesn't live there.) |
