Saw a rally blue bugeye WRX with a carbon hood and black steel rims heading south on Virginia next to UNR at around 7:50 am this morning...very nice but I wonder what rims he runs during the summer?

Every once in a while I see a silver 04 WRX (perhaps even an RS) that has TWENTY INCH RIMS ON IT. Whats better even is that he has the "chrome" 20" badge... so gaaaaaaay.

Also, I saw an R8 on the streets of Alicante (so hot) and one at the Hethro Airport on display (so hot right now).

I always get pissed when I see other yellow wagons...posers.

I see that guy almost every morning. Maybe he damaged the stock rims and replaced them with steelies.

The guys name is Sal and he works at Summit Racing. I park next to his car every time I go there and just sit back and say "damn, I wonder how that rides". He is also on springs, I can't remember which ones. He seems like a nice guy, but his car is crying out for help.

I don't know if he knows that he drives a SUBARU.:lol:

Honestly, if a Subaru wasn't a performance car, I don't think 20's look that bad on it. I think it could look pretty good. BUT I do so hate those wheels he has. Plus they are really skinny, probably 7.5 which is small for 20s.

Even putting weight and performance penalties aside, 20's are still too big on nearly every car. Unless the car was made with *huge* wheel wells for running something like a 285/40/20 tire, 20" rims end up with too little tire on them so they fit on the car meaning you bend the crap out of them with every pothole.

I have seen that same one. Every day at my school I see a 05 STi with black hood and and trunk lid with 20 inch rims and the 20" badge also.

It's not an STi though. I'm sure we are thinking of the same one. It has a carbon fiber hood with an STi scoop and cf trunk. But it has teeny brakes, standard bumper and a black interior.

Yeah thats the same one. He is always at my school dropping some one off. He almost got stuck on one of the deadly speed bumps at wooster.

I think I saw that car parked at Summit earlier this week.

I keep seeing a rally blue WRX with gold Rota Torques in the north Circus Circus parking garage. Might be a bugeye, but not sure. Student at UNR...? Also saw a slightly lowered White STi (06-07) with gold BBS's on Vista near Baring heading south around 7:45 am...sounded really nice

The blue WRX with gold torques sound like it might be Shelby (aka Shoobie)

Saw a black wingless WRX with blacked out tail lights on 395 southbound by Parr this morning, he popped off his BOV a couple of times on his way past me...then two cars behind him was a lowered sliver 04/05 WRX with what looked like 18 in. gold multi-spokes (looked way better than the black WRX in front)...

I think I saw these guys going down (up) Parr Blvd. ~ late 6:00 - 7:00 something.

I saw Jonny driving up Parr about the same time, as well.

I think I saw the juice driving today on South Meadows around 1:45pm.

I wasn't - I was sitting in a parking lot along the street (Parr Blvd) wasting time in the Brighton (white V3 front), and the RS was parked a spot or two to my right (but facing away from the street).

I saw the 'Ring decal again. =.P

I almost beeped, but I was in an early morning daze (hey, I woke up at 4:00 to get the cars there), hence my text to you.

I think I was multitasking, too;

1. eating breakfast (not on the phone)
2. talking to an RS25 board member on the phone
3. installing center console and HU stuff

Oh, and after all of that - the carrier's not going to pick up until tomorrow morning. :unamused:

Driving up Parr Yesturday around 6pm-ish(On the way to the freeway) saw an RS with "GC8LOVE" on the plates. Then over by Vista on 80w I spot a (white) '09 Skyline GT-R. needless to say it was a good day :)

I was also around the same area this morning, getting both cars transloaded. I saw someone or other drive by and look, but I can't remember the Subaru specifics.. it was too early.
