I am pretty bummed that I can't bring my car up to get the back rolled. I might come to hang out for a bit and see some paint chipped;). If I come I will bring some food for the cause.

Anyone have any allergies or special requests for teh ice creams?
|
I fucking love any coffee flavored icecream. Add some heathbar and I'm in heaven.
Joel, I'll have the roller until July 2nd. Maybe PM Sybir to see if you can borrow it. |

As long as I can get it back that weekend, I'm cool with whatever if it helps club guys. |
So, even though I am not using the roller I would like to thank you Sybir. I think I met you at a PDX/Club Trials last year. Leggy wagon cali plates right? You used to work at Grimmspeed and now you work at GST? I was running timing, at I wanna say the last event Scott ran before the failure.
Thanks for the use of the roller man, i really appreciate it. It is helping a lot of people. If your ever in Reno and you need a place to stay or work on your car hit me up, your more than welcome. I wanna come watch the GST car run sometime if I ever get the chance, maybe check it out if I get the chance, that car is awesome. I have watched some vids, and someone said when the turbo spools it sounds like the world is ending and I agree with that I love that car. Once again thanks man. Robby P.S. This sunday is gonna be blast I am gonna buy some more burgers. Does anyone have any interest in grilled or smoked fish. My family caught in in AK and we have a ton so let me know so I can get some direction from my dad so I can make it amazing. P.P.S I need to stop posting on this site intoxicated, I feel like an idiot hahahaha |
You beat me to it, I was just about to post thanks to Sybir for the use of the roller tool. Thank you Sybir, we all appreciate it and we'll be sure to get it back to you safely :)
Also, I big thank you to RobbY and his parents for letting us use their garage and lift. Looking forward to Sunday. |
Robby are you hinting that you are going to have poor mans lobster?!
|
Yeah, I will come chill. I'm way to broke after buying those coils to get my fenders rolled. I can bring some drinks though. Somebody let me know what everybody is interested in, any soda or juice or whatever. I will probably roll in a little after noon, I have to give my gf a ride to work.
Mike are you brining your Z or the wagon? |

So can someone bring a camera tomorrow as well? Get some pictures of the festivities and what not.
|
I will bring my camera.
|
So this is like a big deal now?
I might have to stop by and see the debauchery, nobody bring milkshakes! |
I'll definitely be bringing my camera too.
|

you're welcome. |
Sucks, Joel.
I love smoked salmon and grilled fish, if it's not fishy. :) And I would also like to thank Sybir. :) Oh, my timing belt job went well today (only one trip to the Lithia parts counter--busted the AC belt tensioner plastic piece) so I can actually go! :) |
I really wanted to go to this. I told my wife that I could photoshop myself into the family pictures but, for some reason "that's not the same thing!!".

No worries, man - helping out the club is what it's about. I'm definitely the Legacy with Cali plates, but I'm not involved with Grimmspeed or GST, though I've known Moike for years (I was actually down at GST today checking out the progress on the L, it's getting even more weight stripped). I used to work with S-Squared down in Sac when we were a standalone shop, helping out with forum and web stuff as well as being a font of both useful and useless knowledge, and I work with Paul @ DB from time to time, helping with web stuff and testing new bits on my toys, as well as still beign a font of useful and useless knowledge. I've been in and around the Subaru tuning world for 10+ years now, so I'm pretty familiar with most of the major players (for better or worse) and have a decent idea of what works and what doesn't, and figure it's only fair to try to help a bit. :D You kids have fun tomorrow. Just remember to take it slooooooooooow and you'll get good results, and don't overdo it - you don't need 43 pieces of flare, just folding the lip up is enough, and stay about an inch away from the bumper/quarterpanel join in the rear of the fenderwell to avoid an unsightly tweak in the fender - moving metal has to come from somewhere, and you want to stay away from points that will focus that stress :) |

Sybir: Got ya. I definatly met you I was close in the fact that you were associated with a shop for a while. That L is sick. Mike needs to bring it up and T&T at RFR haha. |
Another last minute question...does anyone who will be here early have any teflon tape I could possibly steal? Its not super super important, but I just replaced the attachement on the air line cause when Robbie and I were working on his car it decided to shoot the internals of the connection across the garage like a god damn bullet, firing at 120 psi, hahaha. When I replaced the fitting I didnt have any teflon and now the line, at the connection, has a slow leak. Before all the junctions were rapped in teflon before they were screwed together, but when I replaced it I didn't have any teflon. Not world ending but I really would appreciate it...and love you forever. :D
|
I have some teflon tape I'll bring. But I'm running a little late, sorry. I should be there by 9:30 or so.
