I like Sprint currently. Haven't had a problem with their 3G here. One piece of advice I would give, though, is to not try to save a few bucks on a phone, if it locks you into a more expensive contract. Over time, its just not worth it financially.

If you include texting and data plans from other carriers, I believe Sprint is the cheapest and it is unlimited everything (compared to the reasonable limited plans). If you can live without a texting plan, then AT&T is cheapest I think but its been a while since I've looked into it.

Also, keep in mind that Sprint charges a $10 smartphone fee. It used to be just their 4G phones, but now its all smartphones, so be sure to add $10 to every Sprint plan you research online.

Ya, I'm starting to think it's not worth it to get a lesser phone and coverage just to save like $40/month. I like how Sprint's anytime minutes stop at 7pm instead of 9pm. I'm probably going to go for their $80 plan that has unlimited everything except only 450 anytime minutes. That includes the $10 smartphone fee. They will also give you a 10% discount per month (on everything except the smart phone fee) if you are a credit union member so that should cover taxes anyway. The Galaxy S2 should be plenty good. It's being called the iphone 4s killer. Getting it for $100 is sweet.
