That was a fun track. I did learn my rwd can snap real easy. Did a donut came off the turn on my 1st run. My best run was 60.056 miss my target time (below 60) by 0.056. My problem was it take too long between the run, I forgot the turns. Next time I might to the afternoon too or fine 2nd driver.

See you guys next year.

Wow,

I know others left in various states of happiness, but I had a great time. I loved the course today.

cody 2006-10-08 06:00 PM

The track was great both days. The pussy wagon was being a pussy though...

Congratulations to everyone that won somthing.

We should all add our favorite part of the weekend. Mine was when I pulled up after fixing my car and Scott's car comes up bellowing smoke out from under the hood. :P

cody 2006-10-08 06:03 PM

A hose from his catch can came loose apparently.

And my car had a loose hose clamp that was allowing oil from the intake hose to turbo connection to leak blowby onto the hot turbo.

You guys did a great job chairing this event, thanks to all who put it together!
(Sorry, but these days I don't seem to be able to find the time to put in extra help before or after, or to get out to socialize afterwards. Hopefully some time in the future.)
My favorite part of the weekend was watching my daughter take her first autox runs.

I think she did pretty good this weekend. How much practice has she had on manual transmissions?

Secondhand rumor I heard was that she had never driven stick before yesterday!

Wow, what a fun and exhausting weekend. It is good to know that everyone enjoyed the courses and had a good time. We couldn't have done it without the help of a lot of you guys who showed up early and stayed late to make sure everything got done, especially Mike & Derrick, who came out to help on Friday, and Matt for being our special technical advisor. Thank you all!

JonnydaJibba 2006-10-09 07:33 AM

Matt has such a pleasant broadcasting voice.

MattR 2006-10-09 07:42 AM

Do I? hahahah:lol:

JonnydaJibba 2006-10-09 07:58 AM

Yes. And the soloricer shoutout was funny.

ivanko 2006-10-09 08:22 AM

It'll be a while. 1st someone needed to take the laptop home with them (Nick, I was hoping you grabbed it for me, but I forgot to mention it to ya). 2nd we need to get the results off to MikeK, who's out of town for the week. Then he needs to crunch not only the event results, but also all the complete season standings. Then he'll get them to me for posting on the web.

MattR 2006-10-09 08:36 AM

We got done early enough that Mike K took the computer, so he said he'd work on the results today from Seattle.

Nick Koan 2006-10-09 08:46 AM

Yes, I have no laptop for you today.

A1337STI 2006-10-09 08:58 AM

The track rocked! I loved the seccsagon the most. :) On sunday, In reverse it seemed a bit more technical to me (i'm sure i'll hear that it wasn't :P ) it sure was fun. Manged to get a 50.6 out of my blue lemon :)

Sorry everyone, I wasn't able to work on the results last night due to inebriation. Tonight might be the same unfortunately. ;)

He doesn't want to talk about it, because he forgot to say "female" ;)

MattR 2006-10-09 10:18 AM

I have no comment.

Anyone find a black and grey Sparco Racing glove at the autox? I was parked next to John Evans in the back near the grand stands. Perhaps someone has contact info for John?

Thanks.

Adam
