And I saw Cory at about 7 on S. Virginia today |
Have you people never seen Initial D? Catch and Run (I'm assuming) is when one car heads down the mountain and the second car follows. Then they go back to the top and switch places and run again.
If one car can pull away when they're in the lead, but can stay on the tail of the other car when following, then they're the race winner. That way you can have a mad-tight-JDM-dorifto race without having to actually have the skill to pass the other car. |
Isn't that called Touge, popular in Japan?

Ah, gotchya...I guess Im not JDM enough :)

Whenever I get delivery from Two Guys from Hong Kong they are always playing catch and run in the Toyota delivery trucks. Ludacris is usually driving the second truck.
weird |
I just street raced Jeikun to death just a second ago over by Home Depot. He needs tint to be faster.

Well... I was winning until then.

It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile... or a motorcycle length.

I just saw a totally sleeper 04-05 WRX on 80 east by the 4th street exit in sparks with a WRX wing, RS hood, stock WRX exhaust, front mount, and out of state plates. Couldn't tell what state, but the bottom of the license plate frame said "drive EVOS". Pretty cool car, I'd like to take a look under the hood. Too bad the guy was holding up traffic by going barely over 60 in the left lane :unamused:
|
Sounds like Ryan. Black car w/silver wheels? It's fast. The plate is from Hawaii, and the frame says "I can't believe my friends drive Evos"
|
Could have been. If I remember what Hawaii plates look like, it could have been HI plates. I like his style tho. That's what I want to do with an STi, make it totally sleeper.
|
|
I wish I could remember what the Kazakhstan license plates looked like.

In glorious Kazakhstan, there is no DMV. Cars are licensed with the urine of whatever animal is pulling them.
|
I saw a sweet pearl white STi on Greg today.
|
And...he actually waved to me. No one else gives me love.

Hmmm...maybe they're prejudice against non-wingers like me. :)

If I would see you I would give you love. I'm a wingless, and I get love all the time! haha
|
I just get confused looks, and pulled over.
I don't even speed |

I can't wait to spend $3,600 over the next three years in insurance premiums so Reno can pad their income with a whopping $45. Apparently there were 3 other people pulled over there in the span of 30 minutes. I'm sure all those people were just as a menace to society as Lisa was going 48 mph on an empty 8 lane wide road that has no side streets. Nothing like a bad economy to force the cops to waste time making money for the city rather than pulling over the people that are actually driving poorly. Is it really so much easier to hide behind some trees and radar people than to observe and ticket the people that run red lights, run stop signs, weave through traffic, street race, and driver generally absentmindedly? I know I see people driving in the latter manner every time I have to drive anywhere in this city. |
I think they go for the other people, because they are generally older, more mature, and more likely to just pay the fine and not waste time in court. Same reason they hang out by Robb drive to get everyone coming in from Cali
