Yah, it's the game only (which includes an additional 20 downloadable songs). I bought RB1 (with the instruments) at Target a while back and we really enjoy it, but are bored of the songs.

Kevin M 2009-11-03 01:47 PM

There's a ton of good songs on RB2, but I've been playing Beatles almost exclusively since it came out. Then again, it's still $50 probably.

Also, of the 20 free downloads, a handful are good but some kinda suck, and once songs are on, you can't delete them AFAIK.

cody 2009-11-03 01:53 PM

Are the 20 downloads part of the game? What I mean, is, am I going to download them and then be required to play them to progress in the game (World Tour or whatever) and then wish I had never downloaded them?

Kevin M 2009-11-03 02:33 PM

Yeah, they will pop up on mystery playlists (just like other songs you download).

100_Percent_Juice 2009-11-03 05:26 PM

They will not be part of the endless setlist but they do pop up like Kevin said. You can delete them but only as a bundle so you lose the very few good ones that are included. Cody, if you had RB2 on xbox I found a guy on ebay who sells MS points for dirt cheap. It works out that per $dollar you get 200 points instead of the normal 80. I now have like 93 downloaded songs and I bought worms2 which has really been pissing me off.

Kevin M 2009-11-03 06:21 PM

How do you delete downloaded songs?

Edit: for PS3

100_Percent_Juice 2009-11-03 06:51 PM

I have a 360 so its probably completely different but, you go to your hard drive and delete the files. You can't delete things from in the game.

I'm pissed. Preview trailers for Forza3 shows cars pulling the front tires off the ground in drag racing. Well if any car should be able to do that, it's my Renault 5 turbo. 650hp, rear engine, RWD, 1,880lbs, 12" slicks in the rear... It won't do it. Those lying bastards...

Get a GNX. Quit trying to drag race friggen French cars.

Nick Koan 2009-11-04 09:41 AM

Yeah, Its probably due to the all the cheese and white flags stored in the front of the car.

I'm disappointed with FM3 and I haven't even played it.

Tried that first. 800hp, nothing but a smoke machine. I figured the weight of all the frog's legs in the back of the Frenchist would help. It's fast as hell, but won't pull them. I can sit at the line and wait for a 700hp class car to get between 1/3 and 1/2 track before I even take off, and walk past them at 1000 ft. But it won't pull the F*ing wheels!! :unamused:

Drag racing in video games might actually be dumber than drag racing in real life. For whatever reason, it's never at all realistic.

They really should have made a separate physics engine for the drag racing. There's no reason they couldn't translate all those cars' stats into a drag-specific model that made the drag racing actually fun and realistic enough that 1000hp pony cars aren't getting mopped up on by 600hp Renaults.

There's only one Renault that should be beating a turbo drag Camaro in the quarter:

Espace F1 FTW. Or, for the something.

szucchet 2009-11-06 09:05 AM

I hate how on the new forza you cannot compare cars, you can't get detailed info on the cars, there is no boost gauge and in seasson play you can't check out your opponents before you start a race. I love the sound of the cars, I like how they handle, they have a good amount of cars, and I like the mods ( I have a 22b with a 3.8 twin turbo H6 motor and the whole car weights about 2500 lbs)

szucchet 2009-11-06 09:07 AM

Oh and I also love road America it's an awsome high speed track

Well... Forza has no Bugeye, no SVX... certainly no F-250. But they do have an '84 GTI!

nice

tysonK 2009-11-10 03:33 PM

shut the fuck up that's awesome.

MPREZIV 2009-11-10 03:51 PM

Go crash it into some shit before you take pics again... you know, just for the realism. ;)

That's a pretty sweet job tho!

Libila 2009-11-10 03:55 PM

That GTI is awesome. Lemons car?

Yeah, that was the car Fred Austin built up for Lemons at RFR this past summer.

I need to dig up the better pictures I've got of it, I'm sure a lot of the details on the Forza paintjob are off and/or missing. Plus I should add the math problem in sharpie on the hood and the "I will not pass under yellow" 100 times on the roof.
