You better not post that video another 998 times. :)

Nick Koan 2010-06-03 04:34 PM

Damn, wrong thread again... :(

cody 2010-06-03 04:54 PM

I guess that's a...video...game...

MikeK 2010-07-01 06:22 PM

Realistic A-10C sim anyone?

Not due out until next year, unfortunately.

100_Percent_Juice 2010-07-01 06:46 PM

^So... when do you actually take off to battle the geth?

cody 2010-07-02 03:17 PM

What's the best place to try to pick up GTA: Episodes From Liberty City for PS3 used? I just finished the last mission on GTA IV and I want more.

Kevin M 2010-07-02 09:22 PM

Gamestop on Mae Anne next to Safeway has a pretty decent selection.

Any one heard about "WRC The Game" think it either just came out, or will be out shortly

http://www.rallybuzz.com/wrc-2010-game-preview-video/ (haven'ted watched this with sound yet) :(

Hopefully the physics will be on par with Richard burns rally simulator. (Which btw there's an RS 2010 Center available for it, with a lot of extra new cars!)

sperry 2010-07-04 02:45 PM

If it's like the previous versions of the game, it will be lightyears behind RBR. Think Need for Speed on dirt with licensed teams. Fun, but not really a simulator at all.

I think I remember reading something that said the devs are trying to go along the lines of the old Colin McRae games.

Bit on this:

Gran Turismo 5 (PS3) Pre-order $48 + FS

Kevin M 2010-09-22 09:30 PM

Me too.

I just got F1 2010 today. Not gonna buy a ps3, wheel, and gt5 this month.

F1 2010 is pretty awesome... Except for the crappy codemasters physics engine that makes te difference between a loose car and a tight car: a loose car is a car that snap oversteers when you touch the throttle while it's pushing. A tight car is one that pushes more when you touch the throttle while it's pushing. Either way, the car pushes terminally in every corner. :unamused:

We'll have to race online after it comes in. Hopefully it's not too long after the release date.

Do it slower?

I foresee revival of the SECCS official GTx challenge thread.

Haha, with screencaps via digital camera and all? Or are we going to be able to be cool like Sperry and post actual video of our best runs? Shit, I really need to read up on this game. I heard it's supposed to be 1080p 60+ FPS all day long. Is that true?

We can probably even organize live races between multiple competitors.

The biggest issue is really just a lack of feedback to know when the car is pushing. The force feedback isn't there (steering wheel should get really light when the front tires are sliding), there's no sound of the tires sliding, no vibration. You just stop turning.

Maybe I'll get used to it. The rest of the game is really neat... and it's F1... but it's like they just reused their physics engine from TOCA from years back.

GusGus91 2010-09-23 10:45 AM

I'm down for some online races too when it's out.

If you change your mind, this is probably the cheapest deal on PS3's. Not sure if some of them being out of stock is a deal breaker:

Just bought Dead Rising 2 last night. I only got to play it for about 20 minutes because of stupid date night with the girlfriend, but it's fun. Combining items to make weapons is pretty awesome. I'm looking forward to making weapons like the hand held lawn mower seen here- http://www.ign.com/videos/2010/09/23...ectid=14312882

GusGus91 2010-10-03 08:41 PM

Yea it's really good. I've been playing for a few hours and it's fun. You'll like it. Let's play some co-op. my name is gusgus91
