There's a BJ's near tamarack junction ,
and a newly opened bullies on steamboat parkway (off double R) that Shouldn't be busy at all yet as its very new... Both have large amounts of parking and would have people going Against the major rush hour traffic.. I really love the food at BJ's but it may be a lil pricey I haven't been to a Bullies before... |

What about the buffalo wild wings? (maybe also packed at night i only go there for lunch) :?: But they have a lot of TVs and usually have SPEED on ! |
Buffalo wild wings is teh suck. IMO

BWW was a terrible meet spot, we tried it for a few weeks not long after it opened. Too far south and the menu is too limited (duh). Plus they can't seat more than 8 people or so together.
I'll be at C&C tonight. |
I live right up the road, will stop in for a beer... got the all black rex as most of you will have no idea who I am.
|
We had 5 people show up for the test meet!! That is more than we get for some regular meets.
I think C&C was pretty good food wise even though they screwed up my burger. Menu is typical and comparable to Sully's. We didn't play any pool, but could have. The place was mostly empty. Parking is fine. I'd meet there or FuddR so far. MattR, any update on that bar you found? |
No, I haven;t had time to check it out....But I do know that the commute from South Reno is not an issue, as it's better to use mcCarran to get there than the freeway anyway.

I liked Cue and Cushion. It gets my vote so far.
|
I would be there if it were on Monday or Tuesday night. I am always down to sink a few balls.

So, Carrie and I went to Woody's last night for some beers and food...The place is really good, all new inside, tons of TVs , pool, shuffleboard and couple options for pushing tables together for a big group. Also, we noticed it was pretty cheap...I had wings (which were awesome) and fries for only 7.95 and Carrie had a burger and fries for 6.95 and Newcastle on tap was $3. They have a big menu with lots of options, kind of like Sully's only with more sandwiches and pastas as well. The waitress said there should be plenty of room on thursdays for us, and if we decide to make it a regular spot, we can reserve tables. I think this would be a good meet spot. It's in an industrial area so it doesn't seem to have a huge crowd so far...and there's plenty of parking. It takes about 12 minutes to get there from South Reno at 5:30 if you use McCarran, and it's about 1 minute south of the McCarran Exit from I80 in Sparks. Maybe others should check it out...but this would get my vote over Cue and Cushion... I hear they're opening another one in Reno somewhere, but I don;t know where. |

I'll try and make it one night..

I need to get my shop open, so we can do the meets there. If only that building next to Fantasy Girls was available to lease.
|
Monday or Wednesday works for me.
